Spring Registration 2017

The spring season will be here soon!

Oregon Park Baseball is for players age of 4-12 based on April 30, 2017.

Looking for more information about the season?  Check out the following tab: Please click on Documents tab from the home page, then OP Documents, then Spring 2017 Registration information.  Here you will find information about the season start dates, cost, times, etc.

Interested in registering?  Great!  Just click the orange REGISTER NOW button to complete registration.  The button is only available from the full site, and does not always appear in the mobile site.

When do I have to register by?  Register early to guarantee a spot for your player (s). Registration will close around skills assessment time or when spots fill for the leagues.  Some age groups do fill to capacity before skills assessment, so please register early to guarantee a spot.

What happens if an age group says "join the wait list"?   In some cases, we have age groups that reach capacity based on the number of teams we have set for the specific age group.  If you are interested in playing this season, please go ahead and register for the age group by "joining the wait list."  You will not be asked to submit a payment until a spot opens up.  In many cases (not a guarantee), spots do become available so please register if you are interested in playing this season.

Why does it ask for a copy of my player's birth certificate?  Dizzy Dean requires players to play with in their age group unless they qualify to play up one age group.  Please upload a copy of your child's birth certificate to your child's account.  This will only need to be done this one time and then will be available for future seasons.  If you are having any difficulty with this, please contact questions@oregonpark.com.  If you registered and were not prompted to provide a copy of your child's birth certificate, we will be asking for that before the season begins.  Please look for further information.  You can also bring it to skills assessment (6u-12U) to have it checked.

How will I know if my registration is complete?  Your registration is not completed with a spot reserved until the registration is complete, payment completed, and confirmation message received.  Incomplete registrations are moved to the wait list automatically after 24 hours and then removed from the system.  So, if you received the confirmation email for your payment/registration then you are all set.

What should I do after my registration is set?  Get ready for the season to start!  Skill Assessment for all ages (except Tee Ball) is on January 21st (rain date is January 28th). Tball does not participate in skills assessment. The times will be posted to www.oregonpark.com by the end of the week.

What should I do if my player is too old to play at Oregon Park now?

OP does not have leagues for ages 13u and up.  There are other local parks that have rec leagues for players 13 and up.  One of those is Big Shanty Park (West Cobb Baseball).  Please visit http://www.westcobbbaseball.org/default.aspx for more information.
