Saturday Only T-ball: Oregon Park is pleased to offer the Saturday Only T-ball program again in 2026. This program is ideal for first time players, as well as other T-ball players who might prefer a reduced schedule. Games will be held only on Saturdays, with each game lasting one hour. No scores will be kept and rather than an end of season tournament, teams will play two additional “regular season” games.
Schedule: Schedules will be released after teams are assigned by January 31st, 2026. Two practices per week will begin February 2nd, 2026. Games will begin on February 28th. There will be two games scheduled per week- one game during the week and one game on Saturday. Weekday timeslots will be either 6 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. (Traditional T-ball through 8U), 6 p.m. or 7:30 (9U & 10U), and 6 p.m. or 7:45 (11/12U). Weekend timeslots will be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. Typically, games will not be scheduled on Fridays and Sundays; however, in the case of weather cancellations make-up games can be held on Fridays and Sundays. No games will be scheduled during Cobb County Spring Break. The end of season tournament is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 25th, 2026, and will be completed no later than May 17th (last Sunday of Cobb County school year). Coaches may or may not schedule additional practices either at OP or another facility.
Playing with a Friend: T-ball is the only age group that we allow special requests to play with a friend.
Playing Up League: If you are interested in your child playing in the older age group please send a request in writing to your current age group coordinator, Athletic Director, and Auxiliary Director by January 17th, 2026. E-mails can be located on our website under League Information on the home page, then select board members. Determination is based on skill level during skills evaluation and roster spot availability within the age group.
Rules, Regulations, and FAQs: Oregon Park rules, regulations, and FAQs are listed under the "Documents" header on the website. This includes information regarding playing on a travel team and playing recreational baseball. Any specific rule question should be directed to the Age Group Coordinator.
